 This guide explains Shopify's discount limits and shows you how to check how many automatic and manual discounts are currently active in your store.

### Understanding the Limits

* **Automatic Discounts:** Your store can have a maximum of **25** automatic discounts running at one time. This limit includes both **active** and **scheduled** discounts, whether they are created through apps like Kite or directly in Shopify.
* **Manual Discounts:** There is no practical limit on the number of manual (code-based) discounts you can create.

### How to View Your Automatic Discounts

1. In your Shopify admin, navigate to the **Discounts** section.
2. Click the **Search and filter** button.
3. Click **Add filter**, then select **Method**.
4. From the options, choose **Automatic**. This will display a list of all your automatic discounts.
5. To see the total number that counts toward your 25-discount limit, you can add a second filter for **Status** and ensure both **Active** and **Scheduled** are selected.

### How to View Your Manual Discounts

1. In the **Discounts** section, click the **Search and filter** button.
2. Click **Add filter**, then select **Method**.
3. From the options, choose **Manual code**. This will display a list of all your created manual discount codes.
