# How to pause and unpause subscription on kite app

**Important Notes:**
* You must disable all active campaigns before you can pause your subscription.
* Subscriptions cannot be paused during a free trial period.

### How to Pause Your Subscription

1. In the app, navigate to the **Pricing** tab. Here you will see your current active plan.
2. Click the **Pause Subscription** button.
3. If you are prompted that campaigns are still active, go to your app's dashboard and disable all of them.
4. Return to the **Pricing** tab and click **Pause Subscription** again. Your plan is now paused, and billing will stop.

### How to Reactivate (Unpause) Your Subscription

1. Navigate to the **Pricing** tab in the app.
2. Click the **Activate Plan** button.
3. You will be directed to a Shopify screen to approve a new subscription charge. Click **Approve** to confirm.
4. Once your plan is active again, you can go to your dashboard and re-enable any of your previous promotions.
