This guide explains how to set up a "Buy X Get Y" promotion, where a customer's purchase of a specific item X)  unlocks a discount on another item (Y).

### 1. Core "Buy X Get Y" Setup

1. **Start and Name the Campaign**
    * In the Kite app, select the **Buy X Get Y** custom discount.
    * Choose your preferred method: **Automatic** (applies discount directly in the cart) or **Discount code** (customer enters a code at checkout).
    * Give the campaign a title.
2. **Define the "X" Condition (What the Customer Buys)**
    * In the "Product X" section, specify the products that qualify for the offer (e.g., select **Collections** and choose a specific one).
    * Enter the minimum quantity of these "X" items a customer must add to their cart to unlock the offer.
3. **Define the "Y" Condition (What the Customer Gets)**
    * In the "Product Y" section, select the specific product(s) that will be discounted (e.g., a gift card).
    * Enter the quantity of "Y" items that will receive the discount once the condition is met.
4. **Set the Discount Value**
    * Choose the discount type that will apply to the "Y" product: **Percentage**, **Fixed amount**, or **Fixed price**.
    * Enter the discount value (e.g., `10%`).

### 2. Optional Settings and Refinements

You can further customize your offer with these settings:
* **Limit Application Per Order:** Control how many times the discount can be applied within a single order.
