# Kite InApp: Free Gift product is Out Of Stock

| As Kite does not utilize any hacks to add the Free Gift to cart, the Free Gift product must be an actual product on the store with some inventory.

### Steps to rectify this issue:

**In Admin Dashboard:**
1. Open your Products section in the Admin dashboard in Shopify
2. Search and find your selected Free Gift Product
3. Edit the available quantity (you can even put up a dummy number like 9999)
4. Save the Product

**In Kite App:**
5. Head into Kite app
6. Deselect and then reselect the same Free Gift product from the relevant Gift Option.
7. Save the Free gift promotion
8. Assuming there are no other concerns and the promotion was configured till the end, this should make the promotion work on your store.
9. Incase it still does not work, just reach out to us via inApp chat support and we will resolve and set it up for you asap.
