Combined Custom Discounts for Shipping, product, order

This guide explains how to use the Custom Discount Builder to bundle three different types of discounts—product, order, and shipping—all activated by a single manual discount code.

1. Start Your Campaign

1. In the Kite app, begin a new promotion using the Custom Discount Builder.
2. Select the manual discount code method.
3. Enter the name you want for your discount code (e.g., combined-CD-test).

2. Configure the Product Discount

1. In the Product Discount section, choose what the discount applies to (e.g., a specific collection like "Hydrogen").
2. Set a minimum requirement for this discount (e.g., a cart subtotal of ₹100).
3. Enter the discount value (e.g., 10%).

3. Configure the Order Discount

1. In the Order Discount section, set a minimum requirement (e.g., a cart subtotal of ₹200).
2. Enter the discount value that will apply to the entire order (e.g., 30%).

Note: You can use the toggle switch to disable any discount type (product, order, or shipping) that you do not want to include in the combined offer.

4. Configure the Shipping Discount

1. In the Shipping Discount section, choose which shipping rates are eligible. To target a specific rate, enter its exact name (e.g., "Standard Shipping").
2. Set a minimum requirement (e.g., a cart subtotal of ₹300).
3. Enter the discount value. To offer free shipping, set the percentage to 100%.

5. Save and Test Your Code

1. Click Save.
2. Go to your online store and add a product that meets all the conditions (e.g., an item from the "Hydrogen" collection with a price over ₹300).
3. Proceed to checkout and enter your manual discount code.
4. Confirm that the product and order discounts are applied to the subtotal.
5. Enter a shipping address and select the eligible shipping method to verify that the shipping discount is also applied correctly.
