How to Add Multiple Free Gift Campaigns via Kite
This guide explains how to set up a single campaign that presents customers with a selection of different free gifts to choose from after they meet a specific condition.
1. Start Your Free Gift Campaign
- In the Kite app, start a new Free Gift with Purchase promotion.
- Give your campaign a name.
2. Create Rules to Form a "Pool" of Gift Choices
To allow a customer to select multiple gifts, you will create multiple rules that share the same condition. The number of rules you create determines the number of gifts a customer can choose.
- Create the First Rule:
- Set your condition (e.g., select "Spend X amount" and enter
₹100
). - Below this rule, select the first group of products you want to offer as free gift choices.
- Set your condition (e.g., select "Spend X amount" and enter
- Create the Second Rule:
- Click to add another gift rule.
- Set the exact same condition as the first rule (e.g., "Spend X amount" of
₹100
). - Below this second rule, select the next group of products you want to offer as choices.
(In this example, by creating two rules with the same trigger, you are setting it up so the customer can claim two gifts.)
3. Set the Promotion to Manual Choice
- In the "Promotion Type" section, select Manual.
- Crucially, select the sub-option: "Multiple gifts, one for each rule." This setting tells the app to let the customer claim one gift for each of the rules they qualify for.
4. Configure Final Settings
- Enable Discount Combinations if you are running other Shopify discounts.
- Customize the widget's appearance and text as desired.
- Click Save.
How It Works on Your Store
- When a customer visits your store, the widget will display all the potential free gift options you added across all rules.
- Once they meet the condition (e.g., add over
₹100
to their cart), the widget will update with a success message. - Because you set up two rules with the same condition and chose the "Multiple gifts" option, the customer will be prompted to select two free gifts from the combined list.
- After the customer makes their selections, the chosen free gifts are added to their cart.
