How to add the highest qualified tier free gift to get added in Goal based progress bar

This guide explains how to set up a tiered free gift promotion where customers receive only the gift corresponding to the highest spending threshold they reach, rather than receiving all gifts from every tier they pass.

1. Create the Multi-Goal Promotion

1. Navigate to the Create promotion screen in the Kite app.
2. Select Goal-based free gift.
3. Choose the Multi-goal option to allow for tiered rewards.
4. Name your promotion (e.g., "Tiered Free Gifts").

2. Define the Tiers and Rewards

1. Select your Progress type (e.g., Cart Subtotal) and configure the calculation settings.
2. Set up your thresholds and select the free gift for each tier. For example:

• • Tier 1: Threshold 100, Gift A.
  • Tier 2: Threshold 150, Gift B

3. Enable "Highest Tier Only" Logic

By default, the system might add gifts for all passed thresholds. To change this:

1. Scroll down to the Advanced settings section.
2. Locate and select the option to add the free gift from the highest tier. This ensures that if a customer qualifies for Tier 3, they only get Gift C, not Gifts A and B.
3. Click Save.

4. Verify on Your Storefront

1. Click Test on Store to view the live promotion.
2. Add items to your cart until the total value exceeds the highest threshold (e.g., over 200).
3. Verify that only the single free gift from the highest tier is added to the cart, ensuring previous tier gifts are excluded.
