How to configure Multiple Free Gifts in Kite App

This guide explains how to set up a single promotion that offers different free gifts based on different conditions, helping to increase your store's average order value.


1. Start Your Free Gift Campaign


  1. In the Kite app, start a new Free Gift with Purchase promotion.
  2. Give your campaign a name (e.g., Multi-Gift-Test).


2. Create Your First Gift Rule


  1. In the "Gift Rules" section, set up your first condition. For example, select the rule "Spend X amount" and enter a value like ₹100.
  2. Below this rule, select the specific product you want to offer as the free gift when this condition is met.


3. Create Your Second Gift Rule


  1. Click the button to "Add another gift rule".
  2. Set up your second, different condition. For example, select the rule "Buy any product from a specific collection".
  3. Choose the specific collection that will trigger this offer.
  4. Select the different product you want to offer as the free gift for this rule.


4. Choose How Multiple Gifts are Handled


When a customer's cart might qualify for more than one rule, you must decide how the gifts are awarded. Look for a setting that controls this logic and choose an option, such as:

  • Give only one gift: The customer receives only one free item, even if they meet multiple conditions.
  • Give multiple gifts: The customer receives a separate free gift for each rule they satisfy.


5. Save and Test Your Campaign


  1. Click Save to activate your promotion.
  2. Go to your store and test each condition separately to ensure the correct gift is offered.
  3. If you allow multiple gifts, test a scenario where a customer meets both conditions to confirm they receive both free items in their cart.
