How to remove Kite additional notes from orders

This guide explains how to prevent the Kite app from adding extra details (like logged in ID or customer tags) to the "Additional details" section of your Shopify orders.


⚠️ Important Warning Before you proceed, please understand that these additional notes can be crucial for Kite to process your orders correctly, especially when interacting with other apps on your store. Removing them might cause malfunctions in your order processing workflows. Please consider this carefully.


Steps to Remove Additional Notes from Future Orders


  1. Navigate to Settings In the Kite app, go to the Settings page.
  2. Find the Note Setting Look for a section named "Other settings".
  3. Enable the Removal Feature Locate the option labeled 'Remove additional notes'. To stop notes from being added, you must enable this feature.
  4. Save Your Changes Click the Save button to apply the setting.


After saving, Kite will no longer add these additional details to the notes section of any new orders. This change does not affect the notes on past orders.
