How to setup a Progress bar with a Free gift claim widget

Here is a detailed, step-by-step guide on how to set up a free gift progress bar with a manual "claim" button widget.

This setup requires creating two separate campaigns: one to control the progress bar display and another to provide the manual "claim" widget.

Part 1: Create the Progress Bar Widget

This first campaign will only display the progress bar and will not add any gifts automatically.

1. Open the Kite app and navigate to the Create Promotion tab.
2. Click on free gift, then select goal based free gift.
3. Choose single goal as the campaign type.
4. Enter a name for your campaign, for example: "GPBP widget only".
5. Set the Progress type. For this guide, select cart subtotal.
6. Set the goal amount (e.g., 100 INR).
7. Make sure to set the "Consider subtotal" option to after discount.
8. Under the "free gift" section, select the product you wish to offer (e.g., "complete snowboard").
9. Scroll down to advanced settings.
10. Enable the feature use this only as a widget.
11. Disable the feature automatically add free gift.
12. Click Save.

Part 2: Create the Free Gift "Claim" Rule

This second campaign will create the manual "claim" widget that appears only when the goal from Part 1 is met.

1. Go back to Create Promotion and click on free gift.
2. Select multi-selection (this is the manual add method).
3. Enter a name for this rule, for example: "FGWP".
4. Select single rule.
5. Set the eligibility rule to match your progress bar. Choose Spend X amount and set the value to the same amount you used in Part 1 (e.g., 100).
6. In the free gift selection, choose the exact same product you selected for the progress bar (e.g., "complete snowboard").
7. Ensure the add method is set to manual (you can choose "one gift" or "multiple gifts").
8. Review any other settings, such as where you want the widget to be displayed.
9. Click Save.

Part 3: Activate and Verify on Your Store

1. Make sure your theme app extension (app embed) is enabled on the theme where you want the widgets to be active.
2. Go to your storefront and refresh the page. The progress bar should be visible.
3. Add a product to your cart. You should see the progress bar and the free gift widget in your sidecart.
4. Add items to your cart until you meet the goal (e.g., 100 INR).
5. Once the goal is met, the progress bar will show as complete, and the "claim" button in the free gift widget will become active, allowing the customer to add the gift to their cart manually.
