How to Use This Feature as a Widget

his guide explains how to use the "Use this feature only as a widget" setting. This feature allows you to display a promotional widget (like a progress bar) on your store for informational purposes only, without actually applying the associated discount or adding the free gift to the cart.

1. Create Your Promotion

• In the Kite app, begin setting up your desired promotion, such as a goal-based progress bar.
• Define the rules and requirements for the offer as you normally would.

2. Enable the "Widget Only" Setting

• In the promotion's setup page, scroll down to Advanced settings.
• Find and check the box for the option labeled Use this feature only as a widget.

3. Save Your Changes

• Click the Save button to apply the setting.

4. Verify on Your Store

1. Go to your online store. You will see the promotional widget displayed on the pages you've configured (e.g., product page, side cart). The widget will inform customers about the offer.
2. Add items to your cart to meet the promotion's conditions.
3. When you view the cart, you will notice that the actual free gift or discount has not been added to the order, as the feature is set to act only as a visual widget.
