This guide will walk through setting up a volume discount using the Kite app.
Start by navigating to the Create Promotion tab.
Scroll down to find the Volume Discount option.
Click on Configure.
Step 1: Set up a promotion name for the volume discount and choose the products to apply the discount on. For this example, we're adding a collection.
Step 2: Choose a discount mode. Options include adding the discount at checkout or automatically on the cart. Decide whether the discount will be a percentage or a fixed amount. For this example, we're selecting Percentage. Choose whether the discount applies to each individual product or across the entire collection. In this case, we're choosing the latter.
Step 3: Set the quantity for the discount. For instance, if a customer adds a minimum of three products from the collection, they receive a 10% discount. Additional tiers can be added, such as four items for a 20% discount, or five items for a 30% discount.
Step 4: Set up the discount messaging. For this example, we're using "10 off, 20 off, 30 off". Decide whether to combine this discount with other discounts. For this example, we're combining it.
Step 5: Schedule the campaign. This example will run continuously. Set up multiple rules and a campaign URL.
Step 6: Customize the widget appearance, including where it should be visible (e.g., the product page or the cart page). Select the feature tier for this discount and adjust the colors, font, and text as desired.
Step 7: Save the settings and click on View.
Now, when visiting any of the collections, the discount widget will be visible.
For example, if three items are added to the cart, the discount is applied.
Adding more items to the cart will increase the discount.
The discount increases to 30% when five items are in the cart. This is how the volume discount feature works in the Kite app.
