Setting up Buy X items for Y (Fixed amount) in Kite
This tutorial explains the process of creating a "Buy Items for Y Amount" discount, a fixed discount, or a discount to run at a fixed price.
Step 1: Navigate to the "Buy Items for Y Amount" option and select Configure.
Step 2: Enter a promotion name and choose the products for the discount. In this example, the "Kite Collection" is selected.
Step 3: Decide on a discount mode. It's either automatically added to the cart or applied when the customer inputs the code at checkout.
Step 4: Determine the cart quantity and the corresponding discount. For example, if the cart quantity is two, set the price at a fixed amount of $20. If the cart quantity is three, offer a discounted price of $30. This means any two products from the collection added to the cart will cost $20, and any three products will cost $30.
Step 5: Combine this discount with other discounts and set it to run continuously.
Step 6: If necessary, add customer requirements or set it to work on a specific campaign URL only. Customize the visual appearance, choose a default selection or a feature tier, and display it on a card widget. Adjust the colors, fonts, and other elements as desired.
Step 7: Click Save. Then, preview the offer. Add a product to the cart to see the discount applied.
Step 8: Add more products to the cart to see the second rule applied. For instance, adding a third product applies the $30 discount.
The setup for the "Buy X Items, Y Amount" offer is now complete. Reach out for further assistance if needed.
