Discover how to establish customer eligibility rules or country eligibility rules for any discount type on the Kite Free Gift app. This guide applies to all campaign types, not just the free gift campaign.
Start by locating the free gift with purchase campaign. Scroll down to find the Advanced Settings tab.
Step 1: Click on Advanced Settings.
Step 2: Locate the customer eligibility rules.
Step 3: Click on Add Rule.
In the rules drop-down, find the customer tags option, the customer logged in option, and the visiting country option.
Step 4: Choose the desired option. For instance, select the Visiting Country option, include India, and hit Save.
After saving, return to the store. If the widget is visible, the rule is active. However, if the rule is changed to another country, such as the United States, and saved, the widget will not be visible when visiting from India.
The same process applies to the Exclude option. For example, exclude India and hit Save.
After refreshing the page, the widget will not be visible because the visiting country has been excluded.
This method can be used to set up country eligibility rules for different countries, determining whether to display the offer or not. It's also possible to set up customer tags.
To see how the setup looks without eligibility rules, remove all rules and refresh the page. The widget should reappear, as the offer is now available to everyone.
To add a rule for customer tags, select a tag, such as wholesale, and hit Save.
The campaign should now only be visible to customers who are logged in and have the wholesale tag.
Customer tags can be viewed and set up in the customer section. Open any customer and add tags.
Another rule can specify whether the customer needs to be logged in. Choose this option, save it, and refresh the page. If not logged in, the widget will not be visible.
To remove all eligibility rules, delete them and refresh the page. The widget should reappear due to the removal of rules.
