Video Guide on Setting up a Tiered Cart Discount Promotion in Kite app

This guide demonstrates how to create a tiered card spend discount using the guide tab.

Start by navigating to the Create Promotion tab.

Step 1: Locate the Tiered Card Spend Discount option. Click on Configure.



Step 2: Set up a promotion name and select the products to apply the discount to. For this example, choose Collection A.



Step 3: Choose the discount mode. It can be either Automatic or Manual Code. In Manual Code, the customer applies the discount at checkout.




Step 4: Decide on the discount type. It can be a percentage off or a specific amount off.

Step 5: Set the rules for discount application. It can be applied when a certain subtotal is met for an individual product or distributed across all selected products.




For this example, select the second option. Set a minimum card subtotal of ten dollars with a discount of ten percent and a minimum card subtotal of twenty dollars with a discount of twenty percent.



Step 6: Assign names to these discounts, such as Ten Off and Twenty Off. Combine these discounts and set them to run continuously.



Step 7: Optionally, set up a schedule for the promotion.



Step 8: Define customer eligibility rules, if desired. The promotion can also be set to work on a campaign URL only.

Step 9: Customize the visual appearance of the promotion. Decide whether it should display only on the product page or also in the cart page. Adjust the colors and text as needed.



Step 10: Save the offer.



Step 11: Click on View Offer to review the promotion.



To test the promotion, add a product worth fifteen dollars to the cart. The discount applies once the cart reaches the ten-dollar threshold.





Adding another product, worth eleven dollars, meets the twenty-dollar discount criteria.
