What Is GiftKart and How will it help my store?

Feature: Gift Card
GiftKart helps you create, edit and fulfil Gift Card orders on your store without you having to worry about issue or redemption. After the initial set up, every time a Gift Card is purchased , the customer/recipient will receive an automatic email with a link to redeem page with the Gift Card and other personalised information like greeting cards and video messages etc. Gift Cards can be redeemed by entering the code at the checkout page.
A digital gift card is a great way to give someone a gift without having to worry about what they might want or need. With a digital gift card, they can choose their own gift, whether it's something they've been wanting for a while or something they didn't even know they wanted. For a merchant this leads to upfront revenues while acquiring new customers.
GiftKart comes with a balance check tool for which you can provide the link to your customers in email or put the same in your navigation. The Card itself has a balance field which will be dynamically updated based on the amount spent and displayed on the Gift Card or redeem page.
On the other hand, Shopify Gift Cards are not an automated solution. You have to manually issue Gift Cards and send individual emails. They also do not provide balance check or a personalised branded experience.
Shopify considers Gift Cards as Products and since gift cards are created as products they will show up on your catalogue page.
The App can also be integrated with the Shopify POS Systems to Issue Gift Cards in the Physical Store, along with several advanced features using gift cards for store credits, reward programs and Gift Card Campaigns.
