Editing Quantities of Line Items at Checkout

This guide explains how to edit the quantities of individual line items at checkout.

This feature allows for the modification of product variants

and the adjustment of individual product quantities

directly at checkout.

To set this up, follow these steps:

Step 1: Navigate to the checkout wizard app and select create extension.

Step 2: When prompted to select where your extension appears, choose the during checkout part.

Step 3: In the increase revenue section, find and select the line item section.

Step 4: Click on create block.

Step 5: Name the block. For this example, it's named line item action.

Step 6: Set rules for when the line item feature should appear. These rules can be based on product collection, cart total, discount codes, customer types, etc. If no rules are added, this block will be shown on every purchase.

Step 7: Configure the block. Options include enabling or disabling the variant selector, quantity selector, and the remove button.

Step 8: Choose the design for the block. It can appear as a popover or as an individual block below the edit section.

Step 9: Decide whether to show the block only on specific products, or exclude certain products from this feature.

Step 10: Set the design for the quantity stepper.

Step 11: Click save.

After saving, proceed to the settings.

In the checkout settings,

you're able to customize your live checkout or your draft checkout.

Step 1: Click on customize.

Step 2: Click on add app block and select the line item actions.

This will automatically appear below the items in the cart.

Step 3: Click save.

The feature will now be available on your checkout. If it's on a draft checkout, publish it to see the changes. If it's on a live checkout, it will be visible at your current checkout.

Preview the changes from the preview section.
