Adding custom content on your Thank You Page
This guide explains how to set up a thank you page content block. This feature, available to all merchants, allows the display of banners, text, redirection links, social media profiles, newsletter subscriptions, FAQs on shipping and delivery times, and customer reviews.
Follow the steps below to create a thank you page content block:
Step 1: Open the Checkout Wizard app.
Step 2: Click on Create Extension.
Step 3: When prompted to select where your extension appears, click on After Checkout.
Step 4: Choose Thank You Page when asked where in the after checkout it should appear.
Step 5: Click on Content Block to create the content block.
Step 6: Give your content block a name.
Step 7: For this example, we're naming it Subscribe to Our Newsletter.
Step 8: Add a heading to your content block.
Step 9: Adjust the size of the heading, with one being the largest and three the smallest.
Step 10: Add text to your content block. This text can include hyperlinks.
Step 11: To create a hyperlink, place the text you want to link in square brackets and the URL in regular brackets.
Step 12: Paste your chosen link.
Step 13: Click Done.
Step 14: Define when you want to show this block on the thank you page in the Rule Section.
Step 15: In the Publish Block section, assign a random number to this publish block checkout block location.
Step 16: In the Block Configuration, set the type of banner, border, border radius, spacing, and padding you want.
Step 17: Click Save.
Step 18: Go to Settings.
Step 19: Click on Checkout.
Step 20: Choose to customize your live checkout page or a draft profile.
Step 21: Click on Customize.
Step 22: Select the thank you page and add an App Block. Choose the thank you page content block.
Step 23: Click Save.
Step 24: Place a test order to preview the block on your thank you page.
Step 25: View your thank you page content block.
Step 26: If you can't see the preview on the editor after making multiple changes, clear your cache and log in again.
