Order Status Page Upsell Setup Tutorial

This guide explains how to set up an order status page upsell on the order status page. This feature allows merchants to upsell any product once an order is placed and the customer checks their order status.

Setting up the Upsell Block

Step 1: Open the checkout wizard app.



Step 2: Click on create extension.



Step 3: Select after checkout when prompted to choose where the extension appears.



Step 4: Click continue.



Step 5: Click on the order status page. Here, select the upsell default vertical order status page design.



Step 6: Click on the design and then click on create block.



Step 7: Name the block.



Step 8: Add display rules, which define when this block will be shown to customers.

Creating the Offer

Step 1: Click on create offer.



Step 2: Choose between AI-based recommendations or specific upsell products.



Step 3: Select the products to upsell.



Step 4: Set a minimum cart value for the discount to be applicable and choose the discount percentage.



Step 5: Set up the discount code for the upsell block.



Step 6: Set up the discount code for the product added from the upsell block on the order status page.

Customizing the Upsell Block

Step 1: Customize the label text size and style.



Step 2: Customize the price label text size and style, and the list discount label text color.



Step 3: Customize the button style.



Step 4: In the multiple language section, customize the title and subtitle for the upsell block.



Step 5: Customize all the text that appears on your product.

Publishing the Upsell Block

Step 1: In the publish block section, define a value for the block location.



Step 2: Click save.

Adding the Upsell Block to the Order Status Page

Step 1: Click on settings.



Step 2: Go into checkout.



Step 3: Choose to place this on your live or draft checkout.



Step 4: Click customize.



Step 5: Navigate to the order status page and click on the add app block section. Add the OSP upsell block.



Step 6: Drag and drop the upsell block into the desired section.



Step 7: Click save.



Test the setup by previewing your live checkout and placing a test order.
